2010 Membership Information

The LHA has many membership levels to choose from. All memberships run from January 1, 2010, through December 31, 2010. The benefits of each level are as follows:

  • Individual membership - $20

    • a membership card;
    • quarterly newsletters and other publications of the LHA;
    • invitations to winter and spring social events;
    • an invitation to the Annual General Membership Meeting, held at a New England location in early November;
    • personal injury insurance coverage for members participating in reenacting activities
    • optional liability insurance (available through separate application and cost); and
    • the right to cast one (1) vote in the elections for the Board of Directors, as well as participate within any committee or department.

  • Family Membership - $30

    • Includes the benefits of an Individual membership, plus:
    • Membership cards for all family members
    • optional liability insurance (available through separate application and cost); and
    • The right to cast two (2) votes in the elections.

  • Group Membership - $35

    • Same as Individual Membership, but for a group, organization, or unit. This membership does not include the LHA Liability Insurance Package.
  • Sustaining Group Membership - $50

    • For units and organizations who appreciate the efforts of those in the living history field. Members at this level are eligible to receive apply for LHA liability insurance.

  • Haym Salomon Award Membership - $250 & up

    • Every individual or unit who donates $250 or more will be presented with the Haym Salomon Award. This honorable position bears the namesake of the Revolutionary War hero who raised $5,000,000 to supply Washington's desperate army during the darkest days of our war for independence. They will receive a certificate denoting their venerable membership. Also, a 10% discount off LHA merchandise and a handsome blazer set of selected reproduction pewter buttons from an American regiment or a Crown Forces regiment of the Revolutionary War.
